The Student Recreational Sports Center is a popular venue among IU students as a place to stay active with sports and fitness activities. The SRSC was built in 1995 and completely student-funded at a cost of $22.5 million, except for the Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatic Center (CBAC), which was partially funded by the IU Athletic Department. The facility houses the following: Multiple strength & cardio areas Group exercise/yoga & Pilates studio More private strength & cardio studios Seven racquetball/wallyball courts, two squash courts, table tennis, & badminton Five basketball/volleyball courts Multipurpose gyms The Counsilman/Billingsley Aquatic Center (CBAC) Olympic-sized pool/diving well Indoor walking/jogging/running track Futsal Court Equipment Checkout (free with valid student ID) Renovated locker facilities, complete with showers and private changing stalls
